Julie Fornaciari

Julie Fornaciari (she/her) is a Program Manager in the Energy Conversion Group. Her work focuses on managing various research programs in the group and helps streamline processes for the scientists. Previously she was an ORISE Fellow at the Hydrogen and Fuel Cell Technologies Office in the Department of Energy. She was a National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellow at UC Berkeley, where she got her PhD in Chemical Engineering. Under the supervision of Dr. Adam Weber and Professor Alex Bell, her PhD work focused on transport phenomena in electrolytic devices. She is passionate student outreach, science communication and bridging the gap between scientists and non-scientists, and workforce training for the next generation of scientists.
