Thierry Stephane Nouidui is an Associate Professor and the Head of the Computer Engineering and Information Technology Department at the United African University of Tanzania (https://www.uaut.ac.tz/). He is a former Principal Scientific Engineering Associate in the Simulation Research Group. His current research is focused on developing building performance simulation tools and methods for the design, operation, and commissioning of energy efficient buildings and districts. Thierry received a Ph.D in Building Physics from the University of Stuttgart in Germany and a M.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Kiel in Germany. Prior to joining the Simulation Research Group, he worked as research scientist at the Fraunhofer Institute for Building Physics in Holzkirchen in Germany. He is member of the International Building Performance Simulation Association (IBPSA).
