Nihan Karali
Nihan Karali is a researcher in the Sustainable Energy & Environmental Systems (SEES) Department at Berkeley Lab. Her research interests include accelerating the energy transition, circularity of materials, and technologies and systems to increase the sustainability of various sectors, including cooling, plastic production, and other heavy industries. She focuses on designing technically feasible, cost-effective, and sustainable pathways.
Nihan's work has been featured in various media and numerous publications. She holds a PhD in Industrial Engineering.
