Youba Nait Belaid
Youba Nait Belaid is a research engineer at the Grid Integration Group (GIG), Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory (LBNL), USA, working on transmission planning and grid-enhancing technologies. He received a BSc. degree in Electrical Engineering from the Institute of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Boumerdes, Algeria. He holds a MSc. in Telecommunication Engineering and a PhD in Industrial Engineering from the University of Paris Saclay, France. His research interests include smart grids, reliability, resilience, transmission planning, advanced conductors, mathematical modeling, and optimization.
