Bio

As an Oakland native, Stacy Curry went to Oakland Public Schools before going to Cal State Monterey Bay to pursue higher education. After earning a BS in Business Administration, Stacy began working at an engineering consulting firm, HDR Engineering, Inc., where she ultimately became the Office Manager and HR Representative for the Bay Area. In 2012, Stacy joined Berkeley Lab where she served in a similar capacity, managing administrative and HR activities for the Engineering Division. While in this role, she returned to school and earned an MBA in Business Management with a concentration in Social Impact and Innovation in 2019. That same year, Stacy transferred to the Building Technologies and Urban Systems Division in the Energy Technologies Area where she has had the opportunity to work as a Program Operations Analyst, then Program Manager. Stacy was also elected to serve a two-year term as co-chair of the Berkeley Lab African American Employee Resources Group (AAERG) in 2023. She currently lives in Oakland with her teenage daughter and dog, Pinto.
