Brian Gerke is a Research Scientist/Engineer for the Energy Efficiency Standards Group at the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. Before joining the EES team as a postdoc in 2011, Dr. Gerke was an astrophysicist, studying cosmology and galaxy formation. Since moving to LBNL, he has been putting his data-analysis expertise to use in developing empirically-based cost-benefit forecasts to help guide future energy efficiency policy.
