Bio

Dr. Jibran Zuberi is a Research Scientist in the Energy Analysis and Environmental Impacts Division of the Energy Technologies Area at Berkeley lab. He has an engineering background and research experience working on topics related to industrial electrification, process heat integration, energy efficiency, integrated energy systems, GHG emissions reduction, etc. His current research is focused on developing decarbonization strategies mainly for industrial systems, identifying limitations, risks, and benefits of emerging clean energy technologies, and highlighting key/targeted RD&D opportunities. He has been at Berkeley lab since January 2021. Previous positions he held include Postdoctoral Researcher at the Institute for Environmental Sciences - University of Geneva, Management Associate at Midas Safety, and Internee at Engro Polymer and Chemicals Pvt. Ltd.
