Delegation hosted by China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology visits LBNL’s China Energy Group

A 24-member delegation of representatives of local Economic and Information Technology Commissions, selected industrial associations, the China International Engineering Consulting Corporation, the China Energy Conservation and Environmental Protection Group, and others – all hosted by China’s Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) – visited LBNL’s China Energy Group on October 31, 2013. China Energy Group members gave talks to the MIIT delegation on their research related to scenarios of industrial energy use and CO2 emissions in China to 2050, industrial energy auditing, and reduction of air pollutants and their impact on human health through the application of energy efficiency measures in industrial facilities.
