CEG Researchers Present Low Carbon Development Tools and Policies for Chinese Municipality Delegation

A delegation from Yichun Municipality of Jiangxi Province, China, visited the University of California, Berkeley, on October 16, 2013, interested in learning more ideas and experiences in the development of a low carbon economy. Two researchers, Gang He and Lixuan Hong, from the China Energy Group of Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, gave the delegation two presentations that focus on the development of a low carbon economy in the United States and in California in particular, and introduced the delegation with the tools developed by the group that can be useful in assisting low carbon development at the city-level as well as international policies, programs and best practices in low carbon development for local governments.
