Solid State Energy Storage LDRD Town Hall
Seminar Abstract
All are invited to a Town Hall on the Solid State Energy Storage LDRD
Personnel throughout Berkeley Lab are encouraged to attend the upcoming Town Hall to be given by Gerbrand Ceder on the topic of Solid State Energy Storage, a Lab-wide initiative.
Topics will include:
- Low bulk conductivity of solid electrolytes
- Stability and characterization of the solid state interfaces
- Low charge transfer across the interface; and
- Manufacturability and new device concepts
Seminar Speaker(s)
Gerbrand Ceder
Senior Scientist, Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory
Gerbrand Ceder is the Daniel M. Tellep Distinguished Professor in Engineering, Professor of Materials Science and Engineering at UC Berkeley and Faculty Staff Scientist at LBNL. He received an engineering degree from the University of Leuven, Belgium, and a Ph.D. in Materials Science from the University of California at Berkeley.
