Simon Vidanovic is a Software Developer and Computational Research Engineer in the Energy and Environmental Technologies Division with over 10 years of experience in developing simulation models for thermal and optical performance of windows and other fenestration systems. Simon earned his Bachelor’s degree in 1999 at the University of Belgrade, Serbia. He made significant contributions to the THERM and WINDOW software thermal and optical simulation engines, and he has developed and implemented various complex fenestration models in EnergyPlus. In addition to energy performance algorithm developer, he has worked on solutions for the structural and acoustical performance of glass and glazing systems.
