Pooja is currently a Graduate Student at UC Berkeley's Goldman School of Public Policy with the policy focus on sustainable transportation and emerging technologies such as alternative fuels and autonomous mobility. She also holds M.S. Finance from JD Bajaj Institute of Management Studies, India and M.S. Economics from University of Pune, India.
She has joined International Energy Studies Group to analyze the policy issues in the electrification of road transportation in India. Prior to this, she has worked as a transport economist with Government of India, and conducted research and analysis on urban economic development and transportation sustainability. She is also consulting Metropolitan Transportation Commission on sustainable planning for Autonomous Vehicles.
