Evan Neill

Evan is a Policy Research in the Energy Efficiency Studies department. He supports economic and technological analysis of different energy efficiency practices through modeling and research. He also provides significant support to these tasks through the creation and maintenance of Python tools.

Evan's expertise is in projecting the national impacts of different energy efficiency scenarios, including monetary costs/benefits as well as emissions analysis. This expertise has been applied in the context of lighting products (linear tube lamps) and ceiling fans, though he has contributed to the analysis of other home appliances as well. Before joining the Energy Efficiency Studies department, Evan studied computer science.
