Cong Zhang is a project scientist at the energy analysis and environmental impact (EAEI) division in Lawrence Berkeley National Lab. Dr. Zhang completed his Ph.D. in Automotive engineering at the Jilin University in 2017. His research has been focused on vehicle powertrain model development, vehicle to grid integration, hydrogen production analysis, charging infrastructure projection. At Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, Dr. Zhang has 5-year experience in transportation and grid related projects. He contributed in DOE-funded projects for the integrated systems modeling of the interactions between stationary hydrogen, vehicle, and grid resource, and CEC funded project for the medium and heavy-duty electric vehicle charging infrastructure projection.
