Tom Wenzel is a Research Scientist for the Energy Efficiency Standards Group at the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory.
Tom currently analyzes the effect reducing vehicle weight and/or size in order to improve fuel economy has on occupant safety.
Since 1992, Tom has been analyzing how vehicle technology, land-use patterns, travel behavior, and government policy affect transportation energy use and emissions.
