Bio

Muhammad Ihsan Ul Haq is working as a Postdoctoral Researcher in Dr. Kostecki’s research group at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. His research interests include advanced characterization of nanostructured energy storage materials mainly through electrochemistry, spectroscopy, and cryogenic electron microscopy. Muhammad received his B.E. in Mechanical Engineering from the National University of Sciences and Technology, Pakistan in 2015. He earned his Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, Hong Kong in 2020. During his Ph.D. research, he worked on the rational design and synthesis of nanostructured electrode materials for sodium batteries. He also had the experience of working on Li-ion, K-ion, Li-S, and Li-O2 batteries.
