Bio

Jeetika Malik is a postdoctoral researcher with the Building Technology and Urban Systems Division of Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory. Her research efforts are directed towards energy-related occupant behavior representation in building energy modeling, evaluating building decarbonization strategies for effective policymaking, and exploring human factors in building decarbonization. Malik has a background in architecture and building engineering and received her Ph.D. from the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Bombay, where her research focused on understanding occupants’ energy and comfort-related behavior within low-income housing in Mumbai, India to develop a localized comfort model for building design considerations.
