Dr. Bin Ye is a visiting postdoctoral scholar in the China Energy Group in the Energy Technologies Area of Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, and he has been a postdoctoral fellow since May 2014 at Tsinghua University, China. Dr. Ye received his Ph.D. in Management Science and Engineering at Harbin Institute of Technology in 2013. His research is related to carbon reduction, covering the topics of carbon reduction management and economic policy, as well as carbon reduction technology in the power generation and transportation sector.
Dr. Ye has published more than 20 papers on peer-reviewed journals, such as Applied Energy, Energy Policy, Climate Policy, International Journal of Sustainable Transportation, Resources Conservation and Recycling et.al. He has also chaired several national and provincial research projects in China.
Finally, Dr. Ye received the International Postdoctoral Exchange Fellowship under the China Postdoctoral Foundation in 2015; he is continuing this research on carbon reduction while at LBNL under this scholarship.
