High-Performance Buildings for High-Tech Industries Website Debuts

March 27, 2015

The Building Technology and Urban Systems (BTUS) Division of Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory’s (Berkeley Lab’s) Energy Technologies Area has developed a new website that focuses on High-Performance Buildings for High-Tech Industries.

The website provides resources to increase the energy efficiency of laboratories, cleanrooms, and data centers. This comprehensive clearinghouse of tools, case studies, demonstrations, presentations, guides, and reports facilitates best practices in these buildings. More than a decade of Berkeley Lab’s knowledge and experience in this area is represented, including research and outreach activities in benchmarking energy performance and the development of technologies, tools, and strategies that address energy efficiency opportunities. Further development and utilization of these resources will enable high-tech buildings to fully reach their energy savings potential.

Seven research groups within BTUS work closely with industry to develop building technologies that increase energy efficiency and improve the comfort, health, and safety of building occupants. Learn more about what BTUS does, and how to work with them, by clicking the link below.
