Bio
Vagelis Vossos is a Policy Researcher III for the Energy Efficiency Standards Department. He joined the Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory in 2011. Vagelis currently leads techno-economic analyses supporting energy efficiency standards for various residential and commercial products, including circulator pumps, refrigeration products, and ceiling fans. Vagelis also researches DC power distribution in buildings and is currently the principal investigator for a direct-DC-powered school bus charging system as part of a California Energy Commission demonstration project.
